Stelios Jewellery Pty Ltd – Terms and Conditions

  1. Formation of Contract

1.1. No contract of sale for products (Products or individually a Product) between the person purchasing the Products (Customer) and Stelios Jewellers Pty Ltd (Stelios) comes into existence until Stelios accepts the Customer’s order and confirms it in writing.
1.2. The Customer warrants that they are purchasing the Products for personal use and not for resale.
1.3. These Terms and Conditions override any other terms the Customer may provide unless otherwise agreed in writing by Stelios.

  1. Orders, Price and Payment

2.1. Unless credit terms are pre-approved, full payment is required before delivery or collection.
2.2. The Customer must pay all applicable delivery, transport, and handling charges.
2.3. A non-refundable deposit of up to 30% of the total order value is required at the time of placing a custom or bespoke order.
2.4. The Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes, including GST and duties.
2.5. Quotes are valid for 7 days only. Stelios may revise prices after this period.
2.6. Late payments may incur interest at 6% per annum from the due date until full payment is received.

  1. Bespoke Products

3.1. Bespoke Products are custom-made or specially ordered items not held in regular stock.
3.2. Stelios will confirm whether a Bespoke Order can be fulfilled within a reasonable timeframe.
3.3. Where a Customer supplies a design or concept, they warrant they own or have permission to use the associated intellectual property.
3.4. The Customer indemnifies Stelios against all costs or liabilities arising from intellectual property disputes.
3.5. Bespoke Orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once confirmed, unless agreed in writing by Stelios. Cancellations may incur full compensation.

  1. Repairs and Customer-Supplied Jewellery

4.1. When jewellery or gemstones are supplied by the Customer for repairs, modifications, or custom design, Stelios accepts no liability for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Inherent defects (e.g. porosity, fractures, worn claws)
  • Damage arising from previous repairs not performed by Stelios
  • Loss, damage or breakage of customer-supplied items during handling, setting or remodelling
    4.2. Items not collected within 90 days of notification may be subject to storage fees or disposal in line with the Uncollected Goods Act 1996 (WA).
  1. Title, Risk and Delivery

5.1. Risk in the Products passes to the Customer upon collection or delivery.
5.2. Ownership remains with Stelios until full payment is received.
5.3. Products may be delivered to the Customer’s nominated address or collected in store.

  1. Lifetime Warranty on Craftsmanship

6.1. Stelios Jewellers offers a lifetime warranty on the workmanship of all bespoke and custom-made jewellery. This warranty covers:

  • Structural defects due to manufacturing error
  • Faults in soldering, stone setting, or other fabrication elements

If a fault is found to be due to a defect in workmanship, Stelios Jewellers will repair the item at no cost to the customer.

6.2. Exclusions from Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

  • General wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, or loss of polish
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, or unauthorised repairs
  • Loss of gemstones due to impact, trauma, or wear
  • Prong or setting wear that occurs naturally over time
  • Tarnishing or oxidation of metals

6.3. Assessment & Repairs

  • All warranty claims must be assessed in-store by our jewellers.
  • If the issue is determined to be outside of the warranty scope, repair charges will be quoted before work proceeds.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided for any warranty claim.

6.4. Third-Party Alterations

Any repair, resizing, or modification made by another jeweller may void this warranty.

6.5. Care Recommendations

To keep your jewellery in its best condition, we recommend regular inspections and cleaning, which can be done in-store.

  1. Returns and Consumer Rights

7.1. Our Products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian onsumer Law.
7.2. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for major faults, or repair/replacement for minor ones.
7.3. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on any Products, including bespoke items.
7.4. Some Products may come with third-party warranties. Stelios does not guarantee third-party terms.

  1. How to Return

8.1. Items can be returned in store or posted to:

8.2. Products will be assessed before repair, replacement, or refund is approved.
8.3. Stelios will reimburse reasonable return postage costs if a fault attributable to Stelios is confirmed.

  1. General

9.1. If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining parts remain valid.
9.2. Stelios may use and disclose the Customer’s personal information for order fulfilment, marketing, and legal compliance.
9.3. Neither party will be liable for delays due to causes beyond reasonable control.
9.4. These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

  1. Online Advertising & Data Tracking

10.1. Stelios Jewellers uses tracking tools such as cookies, Google Ads, Google Analytics and other third-party technologies to collect data about how visitors interact with our website.
10.2. This data helps us deliver relevant advertisements across Google and its partner networks based on user behaviour, preferences and browsing activity.
10.3. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this data for online advertising and analytics purposes.
10.4. Users may opt out of Google’s use of cookies or personalised advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings page or using a browser with tracking prevention.
10.5. Personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
