Stelios Jewellers

Hi Friends,

It’s been a little while since our last hello. The year is midway through and Winter has arrived with a chilly bang! We hope you are all keeping warm.

A very belated Happy Mother’s Day to all our Queens out there too, we trust you were utterly spoilt.

Favourites

If you are reading this, you have no doubt visited us at some point and will know that in addition to being a bespoke jeweller we have an abundance of AMAZING finished jewellery in store for the perfect gift or engagement.

We are starting a new little series of write ups on our staff member’s favourite jewellery in store, as many of our finished pieces are just so deserving of a moment in the spotlight. Countless hours go into all our jewellery, from sourcing gemstones and materials, design to manufacture. It truly is a labour of love that births each and every piece we create.

This month we are starting with our Boss Daddy Stelios and one of his current favourite pieces in store.

Background

Most of you know his story, but for those who don’t here is a little recap…

Stelios started his jewellery career in his teens with an Apprenticeship at a prominent Perth Jeweller. From there he started his own business working from home, then as he grew moved on to a space in East Perth, then Murray Street and now our glorious Mount Hawthorn premises. From humble beginnings he built up a steady, loyal clientele who have faithfully followed along as he’s moved through a journey from a one-man band to now responsible for a team of 10 and probably thousands of dream proposals!

Stel’s current favourite piece in store are these gorgeous earrings:

Stelios Jewellery

Designed by our clever Isabelle, these earrings were just what Stelios envisioned when he asked her to think of an Art Deco style vibe for the two divine teal blue baguette tourmalines he sourced, which have a combined weight 10.42ct!

They are made from 18ct white gold and the tourmalines are framed by an assortment of round, baguette and carre cut diamonds equalling 1.42ct. Tourmaline is said to attract inspiration, compassion, tolerance and prosperity.

Stel chose these earrings because he loves the colour of the tourmalines, and he is also crazy about baguettes!

He also loves the sexy, elegant design of these earrings. Art Deco was a design movement in the 1920’s and 1930’s that was characterised by symmetry, line art and geometric shapes. Stel is a big fan of Art Deco design, and these earrings encapsulate that perfectly.

If you are interested in these or any other of our items in store, we’d love to see you soon. All our pieces tell a story, and we’d love to share it with you!

Until Next Time,

The Stelios Team
