The Byzantine Empire was known for it’s opulent jewellery which merged the styles of Greece, Egypt, parts of Russia and North Africa creating a highly decorative style of jewellery. Heavy use of religious symbols were used during this era with an abundance of gold.
This Byzantine inspired cross features an Oval Sapphire, handcrafted in 18ct Yellow Gold.
