It’s been a little while since our last update….read on for the low down:
New Shop Premises
As most of you are no doubt aware, Stelios Jewellers is
soon moving to Mount Hawthorn; where we are in the process of fitting out a gorgeous new showroom and the workshop of our dreams! Things are moving along nicely and we are beyond excited to share our move date with you as the fit out progresses – watch this space.
SPOTLIGHT – SAPPHIRES
Whilst diamonds remain the most popular choice for engagement rings, requests for coloured stones are definitely on the rise; with particular interest in Sapphires. We have had the honour of creating some amazing and unique pieces for so many special clients using this divine gemstone.
Most people’s first thought on Sapphires is the vivid blue of a Ceylon Sapphire – however they actually come in an array of colours; almost every colour of the rainbow in fact! Sapphires are also very close to diamonds in terms of hardness, making them a durable choice for everyday wear.
Australian Sapphire has been mined here for more than a century – did you know that Australia was the world’s leading producer of Sapphire from 1965 until 1985?
These range in colour from deep midnight blue to green, teal, parti colour and yellow, with rare instances of purple, orange, peach, colour change and the elusive red sapphire. With the movement towards responsible mining becoming more prevalent, Australia’s high standard of mining practices gives assurance of responsibly mined stones. This is something that we feel is so important and also guided by growing awareness and demand among our clients.

Isabelle
Late last year we welcomed Isabelle to the team.
Isabelle is a wonderfully talented Artist and Jewellery Designer, with a wealth of knowledge accumulated from decades in the industry. She’s hit the ground running impressing clients with her beautiful ideas and drawings.
We are so lucky to have her with us.
Baby Lila
Earlier this year Stelios and Iantha welcomed baby Lila earth side. This baby is a slice of heaven and Theodore is the most beautiful big brother that ever was.
Father’s Day is fast approaching…. this coming Sunday the 5thof September!
We have many gift options for Dad in store such as rings, neoprene and beaded bracelets, chains, cuff links and tie pins or an easy gift voucher…..pop in for a look!
